when you are covered
- 12 calendar months
- when you are a paid skipper on one or more charter weeks
- when you skipper for family and friends, no matter how many weeks of sailing
- you are also covered if the deposit initially chosen is less than the one for the charter week, taking into account the % underfunding. (example: insured for deposit 3000eur, deposit of the week 4000eur-> underinsurance 25% // Damage 1000eur - Compensation 750eur - minus fransiza 100eur - final compensation 650eur)

how to get insured
Required fields are marked with a star (*). The Professional Skipper Liability + Professional Deposit Insurance package must be chosen for the insurance to be valid. How To video available HERE
The form is sent to the Yacht-Pool to be analysed.
If accepted, you receive your invoice with payment details by email - you receive a confirmation email. If it is not accepted, you receive an email communicating this status.

how to change insurance
Notify Yacht-Pool International's insurer before the start of the charter week: if the deposit amount is higher, activate the insurance policy for the new amount. Notification should be sent by e-mail to [email protected]
You will be emailed the difference by e-mail. Only in this way will the insurance be valid for the full amount of the deposit.
