Basically, it's your 'passport' as a skipper abroad - it makes charters and checks easier, and is quickly recognised by authorities in many countries.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Legal basis - Order No 2366\/28.11.2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In Romania, the updating of the framework for issuing and validating CCIs came through <strong>Order of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure No 2366 of 28 November 2022<\/strong>. It introduced the new format of certificates, including <strong>QR code<\/strong> for digital verification and <strong>expiry date<\/strong> clearly labelled. The aim: to align with European standards and simplify control.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Deadline: 31 December 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you have a Romanian CCI issued according to the old rules, the exchange is <strong>compulsory until 31 December 2025<\/strong>.
