how does it work

During the 5 days, the instructors will teach you the basics of recreational sailing followed by 3 days of practice where you will be able to familiarize yourself with the boat, learn the basic manoeuvres of mooring, starting from shore as well as day and night sailing with sails and motor. The practical session will end with the official practical exam with a representative of the ANR (route). After passing this exam, you will be able to register for the final theoretical exam (hall) at one of the local harbours (Mamaia, Giurgiu, Galati, etc.).

INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED

After passing both exams (practical and theoretical) you will receive the "International Recreational Craft Operator's Certificate categories C, D and S which will allow you to operate recreational craft on inland and maritime waters (coastal, maximum 6 miles from shore) with motor and sails. The certificate is called in English "International Certificate Of Competency (ICC Certificate)" and is the certificate with the widest international government recognition.

ZERO TO HERO

The course is aimed at all persons over 18 years old who wish to learn the skills of operating a motorboat and/or sailboat and to obtain an international boat licence to sail a motorboat and/or sailboat up to 6 miles out to sea and inland waters (Danube, Delta, etc). If you are passionate about sailing, water, sea, boats and want to experience the feeling of freedom in one of its purest forms, you will be able, during the course, to master the basics that will form the foundation of your nautical experience.

EVERYTHING IS PRACTICAL

The theoretical part of the course will lay the foundation for understanding the handling of the boat in different weather and traffic conditions, while the practical part will try to bring the theoretical notions learned into the reality on the boat.
